The bonding of organic glass is mainly affected by two aspects: one is the applicability of the adhesive itself; the other is the bonding technique.

There are many adhesives at home and abroad, there are mainly two kinds, one is a two-component, such as all-purpose glue and epoxy resin, but also a single component, such as CHCl3. Generally speaking, the two-component adhesive is bonded by curing reaction, while the one-component adhesive is bonded by solvent volatilization.

The two-component adhesive is characterized by good bonding effect, no foaming, no whitening, high strength after bonding. The disadvantage is that the operation is complicated, difficult, the curing time is long, the speed is slow, and it is difficult to meet the requirements of mass production. The general single component glue is characterized by fast speed and can meet the process requirements of mass production. The disadvantage is that the bonded product is prone to blistering, whitening, and poor weather resistance, which directly affects the appearance and product quality of the plexiglass product. Therefore, how to choose a suitable adhesive and improve the grade and grade of plexiglass products is a big problem that must be solved first in the bonding process.

In addition, acrylic swimming pool bonding skills are also very important. This paper introduces some common bonding technology of acrylic swimming pool, and briefly analyzes its practical experience.

1. Butt: Place the two plexiglass plates to be butted horizontally on the operating platform, close them, stick adhesive tape on the bottom, and leave a gap not more than 0.3mm wide for gluing. Use a syringe to inject the adhesive into the gap evenly and slowly from one side until it is completely filled. After it is completely cured, remove the tape.

2. Facade bonding: Facade bonding is a widely used bonding technology, which is widely used in the production of various plexiglass IT electronic digital display products. First of all, the surface to be bonded should be wiped clean. The bonding is realized by the mold, so that the glue will not shake, which is beneficial to improve the bonding quality. For the bonding of plexiglass plates with a thickness of 3mm, fine metal wires can be padded, and the bonding can be completed by capillary action. The metal wires can be pulled out before the adhesive is cured, or the adhesive can be bonded with adhesive tape, and then the adhesive can be coated.

3. Oblique bonding: The inclined surface must be bonded with a 90-degree template to prevent the bonding surface from shifting. Apply the adhesive evenly and slowly, and only after it has cured completely can the contour be removed.

4. Plane bonding: Plane bonding is a special bonding method. First, wipe the glued surface clean, place it horizontally, pour an appropriate amount of glue on it, place one side of the other plexiglass plate obliquely, contact it with the plexiglass plate coated with adhesive, then put it down evenly and slowly, and drive bubbles out from one side to complete the bonding. The plexiglass adhesive will corrode the plexiglass surface, leaving indelible traces. Therefore, the tape can be used to protect the parts that do not need to be bonded. Grease, dust or pores can hinder the uniform application of the adhesive and leave bubbles. Excessive use of adhesive can entrain air as the adhesive shrinks. Direct blowing will make the edge of the glue surface white because of the volatilization of the glue, and the indoor humidity and temperature have a direct impact on the bonding of the organic glass.
